This Privacy Statement applies to the FlexiMeals website and governs data collection and usage. By using the FlexiMeals website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

2.              COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL, INFORMATION

2.1           FlexiMeals collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. FlexiMeals also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your postcode, age, gender, preferences, interests and favourites.

2.2           There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by FlexiMeals. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by FlexiMeals for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the FlexiMeals Web site.

2.3           FlexiMeals encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites you choose to link to from FlexiMeals so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. FlexiMeals is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the FlexiMeals and FlexiMeals family of Web sites.

3.               USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

3.1           FlexiMeals collects and uses your personal information to operate the FlexiMeals Web site and deliver the services you have requested. Where the services you have requested are delivered by another party, FlexiMeals may provide your details to the other party to allow them to perform the services required.

3.2           FlexiMeals also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from FlexiMeals and its affiliates. FlexiMeals may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

3.3           Credit card details entered into the FlexiMeals website by you are transmitted using 128 bit SSL encryption to FlexiMeals’ e-commerce gateway provider (Westpac), where they are held by that provider for the purpose of processing payments arising from your use of the FlexiMeals website.  Your credit card details are not recorded or stored by FlexiMeals and FlexiMeals will not provide your credit card details to any other third party.

3.4           FlexiMeals Web sites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on FlexiMeals or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of FlexiMeals; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of FlexiMeals, or the public.

4.               USE OF COOKIES

4.1           The FlexiMeals Web site uses "cookies" as part of the normal operation of the site and the Web site may not work if your browser has cookies disabled. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

4.2           You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able use the FlexiMeals services.

5.1           FlexiMeals secures your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. FlexiMeals secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

6.1           FlexiMeals will occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect school and community feedback. FlexiMeals encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how FlexiMeals is protecting your information.
